This is your chance to take a Zimbabwe Elephant Hunt with one most experienced big game outfitters in Africa!  This outfitter is one of the oldest and most reputable dangerous game outfitters in Zimbabwe.  For three generations, the methods of successfully taking Africa’s dangerous game have been passed from father to son here. 

This Zimbabwe Elephant Hunt will take place on the Binga concession, located 3 hours east of Victoria Falls. This concession is bordered by Lake Kariba, the Chete parks safari area and Chizaria National Park.  This is a massive area with lots of elephant and an abundance of hippo and croc.  The concession features 100 kilometers of Lake Kariba water frontage, where the elephant and other game come to the water to drink during the dryer months.

You will arrive at Victoria Falls, where you will be met by your PH.  Victoria Falls is the perfect place to spend a couple of extra days before or after the hunt to see the world famous Victoria Falls, which is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.   This spectacular sight should not be missed.  Day trips to Chobe National Park in Botswana are available, where you can view the extensive damage that an overpopulation of elephants can cause.  Elephant rides, walking with lions, curio shopping, zip-lining over the Zambezi River and sunset cruises on the Zambezi while viewing Crocodiles and hippos are just some of the many activities that are available.  And don’t miss an elegant unforgettable high noon tea or elegant evening dinner at the world famous Victoria Falls Hotel.

There is a high population of elephant in the area.   The elephants in this area average 35– 50 lbs., although larger elephants are taken in the area each year You are allowed to shoot a hippo during this hunt and only pay the trophy fee of $4,000 plus the 4% government tax on the trophy fee.

This outfitter’s success rate on elephant in Binga has been 70% over the past several years!

The best months for this Zimbabwe Elephant Hunt are January – May and September – November.  The elephant come out of the parks to raid the maize fields during the cropping season.

Hippo hunting is usually done using a boat for spotting and then landing and shooting from the bank.  The success rate on hippo here is 100%

This hunt will be conducted from a luxury lodge that features in-suite bathrooms and the facilities are designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible.  Your PH will be a highly experienced dangerous game PH that has led many successful elephant expeditions in the past. This Zimbabwe Elephant Hunt will be conducted on foot.  You will locate large bull elephant tracks and then follow them until you can catch up and can assess the ivory.

The terrain is somewhat mountainous, so this Zimbabwe Elephant Hunt is better suited for clients that are fit.

DEPOSIT POLICY

50% of the daily rates are due at booking and the balance of the daily rates and the 2% tax on the daily rates plus the VAT on the accommodations are due 21 days prior to the hunt.

Trophy fees plus the 4% Tax on the Trophy Fees and fees for any additional animals taken are due at the end of the hunt, or trophy fees plus tax may be deposited 30 days prior to the hunt. Un-used trophy fees paid in advance will be refunded within 10 days after the hunt if animals are not hunted.
