This is a trophy free-range Damara dik-dik hunting safari in Namibia with a well-known outfitter! This renowned Namibian spot and stalk outfitter is located northeast of Windhoek in Central Namibia. This free-range hunt will take place on 109,000 acres of game-filled habitat. With Namibia having some of the largest free-range hunting areas in southern Africa, this is a great opportunity to get that Damara dik-dik!
The Dik Dik Hunting Safari Area
This discounted hunting safari package will take place on 109,000 acres in the Erongo Mountains of Namibia. The area has no high fences and features wild animals that have adapted to the harsh Namibian environment. The permanent 4-star lodge is a 2-hour drive from Windhoek. The free-range terrain consists of a mix of mountains, bushveld, and savanna. There is a good population of Damara dik-dik in the region.
The Free-Range Damara Dik-Dik Hunting Safari
The safari will be done both by driving until the game is spotted and then glassing to determine trophy suitability. Once appropriate trophies are located, you will proceed to stalk on foot until a suitable shot is provided. Hunting may occur by just slowly walking while looking for a trophy male dik-dik. Dik-diks are territorial, and if the outfitter has spotted a good male on previous safaris, this area will be a likely starting point for your search. You should be in average shape (2-3 on a 5 scale) to be successful on this hunt, as the dik-dik will require some walking to find a suitable trophy.
The Central Namibia region offers true free-range hunting and produces exceptional trophy quality. There are also some big kudu and oryx in this region, in addition to Hartman’s mountain zebra. If you get your Damara dik-dik in the salt quickly, you may have time to hunt for one of these trophies also.
This hunt is available from March 1 – November 30.
Other animals are available per the price sheet.
The 4-Star Luxury Lodge
This hunt will be conducted from a 4-star lodge set at the base of the mountains and featuring a great view. You will enjoy some of Namibia’s fine cuisine during your stay with this outfitter. The rooms feature en-suite bathrooms. The lodge has electrical power and hot showers. No cell service is available in camp, but internet access is available for those of you who want to stay in touch while on safari.
This outfitter has opened an onsite brewery, a Bar-B-Que restaurant, and an onsite full-service spa. Hunters can eat in the restaurant if they so desire, instead of the lodge. Bring your wife, and let her see wild Namibia while indulging herself in luxury at the spa!
The dik-dik portion of this hunt will be done from a different high-standard lodge to the north near the dik-dik hunting area.
Deposit Policy: The deposit to book this package hunt is $1,000. The balance of the package is due at the end of the hunt. Any trophy fees for additional animals shot or wounded are due in US cash, bank pre-wire, or by personal check at the end of the hunt before departing camp.
CANCELATION POLICY: Cancellations made more than 6 months from the start of the safari will receive a 90% refund less a $150 administration fee. Cancellations made less than 6 months from the start of the safari are non-refundable. Safaris may be rescheduled once at the discretion of the outfitter due to extenuating circumstances. Safarescheduled for a subsequent year is subject to that subsequent year’s pricing. Safaris that are rescheduled are subject to a $150 administrative fee. In the case of a terminal illness or death, a full refund will be made.

Testimonials
"I looked long and far for a good deal on a lioness hunt. By far, Discount African Hunts had the best price. I had the hunt of a lifetime and took a beautiful lioness at close range with my bow. The Professional Hunter was first class, the lodge was first class and my whole experience was unbelievable. I will book with John Martins when I return to Africa to hunt leopard in Zimbabwe.

"Best advice I can give is don't let the word DISCOUNT scare you. I was skeptical but I have hunted all over and I can tell you these trips are top notch! Everything was described accurately, no surprises. I took 9 trophies - almost every one made gold medal. I would highly recommend John Martins and Discount African Hunts. I already have another trip booked with them and I am looking at 2 more. I got everything I wanted and saved thousands doing it!"
