THE LIONESS HUNTING AREA

The lioness hunting area is near Tosca in the Northwest Province of South Africa near the Botswana border. The lioness safari will take place on foot within a 6,000-acre fenced enclosure. The terrain is flat with high grass and thick brush that offers a very exciting and challenging hunt. The lioness will be tracked in the thick bush until a shot opportunity is presented. Every lion/lioness is different. Some will run and run while others will make a stand rather quickly. You must stay alert as things can happen rapidly in the bush. This hunt is a typical Kalahari Desert hunt where the terrain is more open and tracking the lioness is relatively easy physically. Due to the thick bush and high grass, tracking can be slow and more difficult. Being in the bush with lions is very exciting and this will be an unforgettable lioness hunt!

The lions and lionesses in this area are feeding on resident game populations and are dangerous! This outfitter has conducted many dangerous game hunts and your hunt will be guided by a highly experienced big game PH. This is an incredible value for a Big 5 Safari and shouldn’t be missed!

GET YOUR AFRICAN LIONESS NOW!

African lion hunting is under pressure from the anti-hunting establishment and lion trophies are currently non-importable into the US due to the uplisting under the Endangered Species Act by US Fish and Wildlife. Those who are in the know are aware that the lion is not really endangered from hunting, but from Africa’s expanding population and the corresponding loss of habitat and available prey. It is the hunter's money that is funding the conservation programs that will save the lion from extinction.  Importing lions and lionesses is becoming more and more difficult as time goes on.

South Africa's government has announced that they are going to halt the breeding and hunting of captive-bred lions in the near future. The breeding has already been halted in most locations and the inventory of shootable males and females is shrinking rapidly, while the price begins to climb!

All that being said, the time to hunt your lion or lioness is NOW, while you still can!  You should not put this hunt off!  The African lion and lioness are one of the world's greatest trophies!

THE LIONESS 4-STAR HUNTING LODGE

While hunting your trophy lioness, you will stay at a 4-star lodge in the northern Northwest Province where you can hunt additional animals from the price list, or just relax and enjoy the magnificent surroundings while viewing the plentiful resident game population. The lodge features comfortable beds and features in-suite bathrooms. The food and service that you will experience are Africa's best! The lodge features all of the 4-star amenities you would expect while staying at one of South Africa's fine hunting lodges.

'It was the most exciting hunt I have ever been on. We stalked a small bachelor group for a few days before I shot a mature cape buffalo with my Browning 375 H&H.'

'This was my third hunt with Discount African Hunts and each one has been fantastic.  I don't think I would book my future African hunts with anyone else.'

"First, I wanted to tell you the buffalo hunt with the outfitter you booked me with was great! The PH took me to a farm where there was a good herd of buffalo and I shot a 40” old dagga boy. I could have taken another one a bit wider, 42”, with hard bosses but he did not have that old rough beat-up look I was after."
