The hunt will take place on Matetsi ECA, located 1 hour south of Victoria Falls. This concession is bordered by Hwange National Park.
There is a high population of leopard in the area and they are growing fat off of the plains game in the area. This hunt for Leopard in Zimbabwe will be conducted by hunting from blinds cleverly concealed near bait stations. Should you desire it, the outfitter will pre-bait prior to your arrival so that you can begin hunting as soon as you arrive.
This outfitter’s success rate on leopard has been 70% over the past several years!
Zimbabwe’s export quota under CITIES is 500 leopard / year. This makes the Zimbabwe leopard permit one of the most popular leopard hunts in all of Africa. Matetsi is one of the best areas to hunt Leopard in Zimbabwe. There are a lot of leopard in the region. Due to the number of permits issued in Zimbabwe, these cats do face some hunting pressure. They are clever, and when you fool your mature tom, it is a great big-game accomplishment! This is your chance to hunt Leopard in Zimbabwe and put one of these beautiful cats in your trophy room!
This area of Zimbabwe is also known for abundant herds of Cape buffalo (although horn width is typically not exceptional) and magnificent sable that can range upwards of 40”.

This hunt for leopard in Zimbabwe will be conducted from a luxury lodge that features in-suite bathrooms and the facilities are designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Your PH will be a highly experienced leopard hunter that has mastered the game of cat vs. human! This hunt will be conducted from a blind over bait. Zimbabwe does allow the use of lights at night, so your hunt could be extended after daylight has expired. This greatly increases your odds of taking a leopard, as leopards rule the night!
Victoria Falls is the perfect place a couple of extra days to see the world famous Victoria Falls, which is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and should not be missed. Day trips to Chobe National Park in Botswana are available, where you can view the extensive damage that an overpopulation of elephants can cause. Elephant rides, walking with lions, curio shopping, zip-lining over the Zambezi River and sunset cruises on the Zambezi are just some of the many activities that are available. And don’t miss an elegant unforgettable high noon tea or elegant evening dinner at the world famous Victora Falls Hotel.

DEPOSIT POLICY
50% of the daily rates are due at time of booking. The ballance of the daily rates and the 2% tax are due 30 days prior to the start of the hunt.
Trophy fees for any animals shot, wounded or used as bait plus the 4% tax and any other fees are due at the end of the hunt prior to leaving camp. They may be paid in US cash or may be deposited with us 30 days prior to the start of the hunt. Any refunds due will be paid within 21 calendar days of the end of the hunt.
