This is the best deal on a cheetah hunt that I have found in Namibia. This outfitter has guided many clients on successful cheetah hunts over the years and has a large enough ranch (109,000 acres) and enough plains game to support a large number of cheetahs.
THE CHEETAH HUNTING AREA
This hunt will take place about a 2.5-hour drive southwest of Windhoek in a remote area of Namibia. The ranch consists of 170 sq. miles of Namibian wilderness. The ranch is low-fence and free-range. The terrain is a mixture of flat plains with a lot of rocky hills and valleys with some mountains on the property. There are good populations of the typical plains game that is found in Namibia along with predators like cheetahs, leopards, and jackals.
THE CHEETAH HUNT
Cheetahs are not easy to hunt, as they usually hunt and kill something every day. Since they prefer feeding on a fresh kill, they do not come to bait well. The hunting methods that will be employed to hunt your cheetah will be a mixture of methods.
A typical day will involve starting early and driving slowly while looking for a cheetah. Occasionally you will stop, and the outfitter will use a predator call (animal in distress) to try and attract any nearby cheetahs. You may spend some time overlooking a waterhole, as cheetahs will sometimes come by to drink or look for prey. A good set of binoculars is important for this hunt, as you will spend a significant amount of time searching for cheetah movement.
The 4-Star Cheetah Hunting Safari Lodge
This hunt will be conducted from a 4-star permanent lodge nestled at the base of some foothills and featuring a great view. You will enjoy some fabulous Namibian food followed by gathering around the fire pit under the southern stars in the evenings. Luxury accommodation is provided in typical African Safari-style thatch roof buildings, creating a unique comfort for hunters and non-hunting clients. Amenities include rooms with in-suite bathrooms rooms, heaters, and fans. The lodge has permanent electrical power. Internet access is available at the lodge for those of you who want to stay in touch while on safari. Daily laundry service is provided.
The main lodge has 7 bedrooms and can accommodate groups of up to 12 hunters, although groups of 10 or fewer are preferred.
This outfitter has opened an onsite brewery, a Bar-B-Que restaurant, and an onsite full-service spa. Hunters can eat in the restaurant if they so desire, instead of the lodge. Bring your wife, and let her see wild Namibia while indulging herself in luxury at the spa!
THE NAMIBIA CHEETAH SAFARI OUTFITTER
This outfitter has lived and hunted in this region for 18 years. Hunting is his passion and he oversees the hunting operations personally. He is a specialist in providing affordable world-class trophy hunting to clients from all over the world. You could not be in better hands than when free-range hunting in Namibia with this outfitter.
Other plains game animals are available while on this hunt. A list of trophy fees for other species follows:
GETTING THERE
You will fly to Windhoek, Namibia, and will be met by the outfitter at the airport. You will then drive east to Windhoek and then south to the outfitter's lodge. The total driving time is approximately 3 hours.
DEPOSIT POLICY: A $1,500 deposit is required to book this hunt. The balance of the daily rates ($1,500), any trophy fees (Cheetah - $2,000), and additional animals shot or wounded are due in US cash, by bank wire, or by personal check at the end of the hunt before departing camp.

Testimonials
'It was the most exciting hunt I have ever been on. We stalked a small bachelor group for a few days before I shot a mature cape buffalo with my Browning 375 H&H.'
'This was my third hunt with Discount African Hunts and each one has been fantastic. I don't think I would book my future African hunts with anyone else.'

"In August 2014 I took a lioness hunt with Discount African Hunts in the Northwest Province of South Africa. The PH's worked hard to customize the hunt for me as I wanted a challenging stalk ending with taking the lioness at close range by an open sighted double rifle. They exceeded my expectations as 12 miles of tracking ended with me shooting the highly agitated lioness at a distance of 25 yards with a couple of rounds of 450 NE".
"I highly recommend a lioness hunt with Discount African Hunts."

"This was my first trip to Africa and can positively say it will not be my only one. Words simply can not describe the events of the hunt. I hunted with both longbow and compound and took a total of 12 animals. I speak volumes to Discount African Hunts. These guys know the ins and outs. Thank you for my first Amazing African Adventure!"
