This is a value-packed hunting safari with a long-established outfitter near Durban in South Africa’s beautiful Kwazulu-Natal province. This discounted Free-Range Spiral Horn hunting safari will take place on a 65,000-acre free-range concession with a 3-star lodge.  This huge concession is home to large amounts of game. A strict quota system governs hunting. You will be targeting and taking mature trophies. You will hunt in a hunting paradise and then retire to your luxury suite to relax and prepare for one of the dinners that South Africa's famous dinners. It just doesn’t get any better than this! This free-range spiral horn hunting safari will take place in the Umkomass Valley in Natal.  This hunt is true free-range hunting! Great numbers of Kudu, Nyala, and Bushbuck will be found in the valley along with other game. This area is fairly hilly with most of the hills covered with bush, but down lower, the bush opens up into some large open plains along the great Umkomaas River.

All hunting is spot and stalk. You will be getting up early in the morning and hiking to a strategic spot with a commanding view and will then wait for the animals to start moving up to bask in the morning sun. Shot opportunities can be as close as 50 yards up to an across-the-valley shot of 300 yards.

Due to the abundance of animals in this valley, and the adherence to a strict quota system, this is a high-probability free-range spiral horn hunting safari. The physical requirements for this hunt require you to be in at least average shape and be able to hike some reasonable distances on foot.

Deposit Policy:  A $1,500 deposit is due at the time of booking to secure the dates. The balance of the package plus any additional charges for animals harvested or wounded is due in US cash at the end of the safari. Should you not wish to carry large amounts of cash, monies may be wired to the outfitter in advance and any overage will be promptly refunded after the conclusion of the safari.

Refund Policy:  Deposits will be refunded only if the client cancels the safari within 30 days of confirmation of booking, subject to a 15% administration fee and provided the cancellation is done at least 90 days before the date of commencement of the safari.  Safaris may be rescheduled at the sole discretion of the outfitter.
