This cull hunt is a great way to go on safari and save some money! Cull hunts are a necessary conservation tool in Africa to avoid animal overpopulation. Many plains game species have the ability to reproduce at rates of 25-30% each year, which quickly overwhelms ecosystems and will eventually exceed the carrying capacity of an area. Meat from the game you harvest will go to help support local tribes in the area.
This is a great deal for a conservation cull hunt in the Northwest Province of South Africa. This outfitter's concessions total nearly 26,000 acres. Their individual sizes range from 2,000 to 5,000 acres.
The safari lodge is only 2 hours northwest of Johannesburg, so no long drives from the airport or overnight stays in a guest house are necessary. The closest town on the map to the hunting area is the town of Rustenburg. The terrain varies from mountainous to flat African bushveld. The hunting area consists of mountains, rolling hills, open plains, and thick bush.
HUNTING METHODS
This is a typical African safari where you will utilize the truck to move around and locate animals. Once a shooter is found, you, your guide, and your PH will make a plan and then get out and make a stalk on foot for the perfect shot. You will be hunting over mountainous, hilly, and open areas. Expect to see and harvest multiple animals each day.
THE CULL HUNT LODGE
The cull hunt features a 3.5-star lodge that features permanent power along with cell phone and internet service. The lodge features nice clean comfortable accommodations and has en-suite bathrooms. The food and service are excellent and the hunting is awesome! The staff that operates the lodge is very welcoming and will make you feel at home. This is great hunting at an affordable price!
This area is not a malaria area. No special precautions are required!
A TYPICAL DAY CULL HUNTING
