This is an unbelievable price for a trophy Greater Southern Kudu hunting safari in South Africa’s Waterberg Mountains! This Five-Star South African outfitter has put together a package for the hunter who wants to hunt a big kudu that others can only dream of. For those of you who want to get that special kudu of a lifetime, this is the outfitter that offers the best chance of getting it done on an ethical “fair chase” hunting safari. And they have made it more than affordable to bring your entire family along to experience the wonders of Africa while you are hunting.
The Trophy Kudu Hunting Safari Area
The hunting location for this trophy kudu hunting safari will take place in South Africa's Limpopo Province in the Waterberg Mountains. The nearest town is Vaalwater. The 5-Star hunting lodge is a 3-hour drive north of Johannesburg. A 10,000-acre privately-owned reserve featuring three 5-star lodges will be the base of operations for this hunt. This area is well known for the big kudu bulls it produces.
This outfitter hunts on a mix of 160 farms which consist of over 500,000 acres. The head of hunting there was a police detective for the local area for 30 years and knows all of the farmers. Because of these relationships, this outfitter can hunt many properties that you would otherwise be unable to secure hunting rights to. This is one of the key locations that I send my hunters who are seeking a special trophy of a lifetime, especially big kudu!

The Companions Program
A special program of activities is available to those observers who do not wish to hunt or only want to go with the hunter for part of the time they are hunting. Activities vary from game walks, game drives, visits to other reserves, and National Parks, curio shopping, etc. A possible companion program may be viewed below:
Trophy Kudu Hunting Methods
Hunting methods for this 5-star trophy kudu hunting safari will consist of both driving and glassing for kudu on the hillsides and some early morning hikes up the mountains to get set up in strategic positions to glass for a trophy-class bull. The terrain is varied and has a good mixture of thornbush flats and hills that make perfect kudu habitats. Once a trophy bull is spotted, a stalking plan will be made to get you into a shooting position to take your trophy bull. Shots will range from 50 to 250 yards.
If you are hunting with a bow. Most of your trophy kudu hunting will be done from blinds situated on waterholes and feeding stations during the dry season.
Rifle Hunting the Kudu Rut
This hunt is available from March through November. The best time to hunt with a rifle is during the kudu rut. The kudu rut in this area is from late April until the middle of June.
Bow Hunting for Trophy Kudu
If you are bow hunting, the best time for a trophy kudu is during the dry season, which runs from July through September. It is best to hunt near the new moon when hunting for a trophy kudu with a bow.
Hunting for a Trophy Bull Sable
If you are hunting with a rifle, you will likely drive until a suitable sable is spotted and then you will stalk on foot to within shooting range. If you are hunting your trophy sable with a bow or crossbow, you may hunt out of a blind, It is also possible that you will hunt the sable by spot and stalk on foot. The outfitter is confident that he can get you your trophy bull sable on this hunt!
