  • What precautions should I take to remain safe on an African Hunting Safari?

    Booking with a reputable outfitter or through a reputable booking agent will go a long way to keeping you safe.  You should always be aware of any potential civil unrest in areas you will be traveling to.  If traveling to areas where there is a question of safety, purchase an insurance policy that includes extraction if dangerous situations may arise that threaten your safety.

  • Is hunting in Mozambique safe?

    Mozambique is a relatively safe country to hunt in as long as basic precautions are followed.  Traveling alone in the cities or at night should be avoided.  Most outfitters meet their clients at the airport and transport them directly to their bush camps and back. Since you are accompanied by an experienced local, you are kept away from any dangerous areas or situations. 

  • Is hunting in Zimbabwe safe?

    Although Zimbabwe is an impoverished country, it offers some of the best and most affordable big game hunting on the African continent.  Since the outfitters meet their clients at the airports or guest houses and accompany them directly to the hunting areas and back, Zimbabwe remains a relatively safe country to hunt in.

    South Africa is considered a safe country to hunt in.  Most hunters are met at the airport or guest house and driven directly to the hunting area.  The hunters are always accompanied by a local representative that knows what areas to avoid.  As long as large cities, impoverished areas and travel at night is avoided, South Africa is a safe country to hunt in. 

  • Is hunting in Africa safe?

    In general, hunting in Africa is safe.   There are countries where political or civil strife exists and these countries should be avoided. Nearly all tourist attractions on the African continent are far from conflict zones.
