  No, South Africa prohibits hunting crocodile with a bow or crossbow. 

• Can I hunt rhino in South Africa with a bow?

  No, South Africa prohibits hunting black or white rhino with a bow or crossbow. 

• Can I hunt an elephant with a bow in South Africa?

  No, South Africa prohibits bow hunting for elephants.  It does permit other dangerous game animals to be hunted with a bow or a crossbow except for black and white rhino and crocodile. 

• Can I hunt with a crossbow in South Africa?

  Yes, South Africa allows bow hunting and crossbow hunting for plains game and dangerous game hunting except for elephants, black rhino, white rhino and crocodile. 

   

• Can I hunt Dangerous Game with a bow in Namibia?

  Namibia does not allow bow hunting for dangerous game. Crossbows are also prohibited for all hunting.

  Although Namibia does allow bow hunting, it does not permit the use of crossbows.
